I took these photos this week from North Peninsula State Park in Florida with an ETX 90 telescope at 4 feet above the water with my 16mp Fuji camera attached looking over 5 miles down the beach to the Flagler Beach Pier. The pier is between 15-20 feet off the beach. The NASA approved drop should be about 20 feet of curvature. As you can see, there is zero drop and it is completely flat. I then turned the camera and looked toward Ormund Beach and Daytona Beach. Ormund was 10 miles away and Daytona beach at 16 miles. Ormund beach is the buildings in the forground and Daytona off in the distance hidden by haze. There should be 66 feet of drop to Ormund and 170 feet of drop to Daytona. I keep failing to find any sign of curvature according to NASA's own model.
